1. 1. What is Menopause? Learn to identify the symptoms

Menopause is the permanent end of menstrual cycles due to the decline in ovarian function, occurring naturally with age or through medical interventions like ovary removal. The transition into menopause spans several years and is marked by changes in the menstrual cycle. The perimenopausal phase, which occurs before the final period, involves fluctuating hormones and the onset of symptoms. It concludes one year after the last period, leading into postmenopause, which begins in the first year after menstruation ceases. Common symptoms include:

  • Hormonal fluctuations

  • Hot flashes

  • Night sweats

  • Vaginal dryness

  • Sexual dysfunction

  • Mood changes

  • Sleep disorders

  • Bone loss and osteopenia

  • Cardiovascular disease (CVD) risk

Those symptoms can significantly impact quality of life, affecting up to 75% of women. The decline in estrogen levels during menopause also increases the risk of cardiovascular disease (CVD), as estrogen normally helps protect blood vessels and regulate lipid metabolism. Postmenopausal women experience accelerated vascular aging and a higher risk of cardiovascular events, influenced by hormonal changes and traditional cardiovascular risk factors like obesity and high blood pressure.

The age at which menopause occurs varies globally, typically around 49 years, and symptoms can differ across ethnicities. Women of European and Latin American descent often report more central nervous system-related symptoms, while women in India and the Middle East report fewer vasomotor symptoms. African American women tend to experience more persistent symptoms and higher cardiovascular risks.

2. What is VitaMenopause?

VitaMenopause is an advanced formulation designed to manage symptoms associated with menopause comprehensively. It integrates the therapeutic properties of cannabinoids with isoflavones, flavonoids, and polyphenols to alleviate vasomotor symptoms (VMS), mood disturbances, sleep disorders, bone loss, and cardiovascular disease (CVD) risks. Additionally, VitaMenopause provides relief for genitourinary syndrome of menopause (GSM) related symptoms, including vaginal discomfort such as dryness, irritation, and burning. It is available in oral and intravaginal forms to provide optimal relief across all stages of menopause.

3. Why VitaMenopause?

VitaMenopause is a comprehensive solution for managing menopausal symptoms by utilizing a unique combination of cannabinoids, flavonoids, and polyphenols to promote overall well-being. By targeting the complex interplay between the endocannabinoid system and hormonal pathways, VitaMenopause offers a natural approach to alleviating the common challenges associated with menopause.

VitaMenopause works through multiple mechanisms, addressing vasomotor symptoms like hot flashes and night sweats, as well as mood disturbances, bone loss, and cardiovascular health. The cannabinoids in the formula—CBD (cannabidiol), CBG (cannabigerol), and CBN (cannabinol)—are selected for their therapeutic potential, offering anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, and cardioprotective properties.

The product also focuses on the genitourinary syndrome of menopause (GSM), providing relief from vaginal dryness and discomfort with a specialized intravaginal formulation. The combination of cannabinoids with plant-derived compounds such as myricetin, resveratrol, and quercetin further enhances the benefits by stabilizing hormonal levels and providing additional protection against bone loss and cardiovascular risks.

VitaMenopause includes both oral and intravaginal forms to ensure targeted symptom management. Its nanoemulsion technology ensures optimal absorption, allowing the active ingredients to reach their intended sites of action effectively and with enhanced bioavailability. This innovative approach to menopause care not only alleviates symptoms but also supports long-term health, making VitaMenopause a safe, natural, and comprehensive alternative to conventional hormone therapies.
